It's a safe, kid-only community that lets kids be free but lets parents guide the social tools they can use. Everloop also gently guides kids toward safe online behavior and away from bullying. But it's not sanctimonious, it's playfully mischievous. Right now, kids can listen to their Zombie Radio (featuring Monster Mash and more ghoulish tunes). And prank each other with Gooblins.
Trends in food, entertainment, fashion and lifestyles of kids and teens around the world. Not even theater students smoke these days, she says. Consequently, the hotspots in Manhattan offer toothpicks in appealing containers. The parents evidently hadn't read the news saying they'd spend less on tweens this season.

A Bar Mitzvah took over a ballroom and conference rooms as Guitar Hero, a "tattoo parlor," video karaoke, a DJ and a full sit-down dinner rolled out. I suspect that this child didn't just get the predicted books and board games as gifts, either.

I was there for the other end of the age spectrum. My 83-year-old widowed father was getting married. Some of our younger guests (under 35) went next door to get tattooed.
Trends in food, entertainment, fashion and lifestyles of kids and teens around the world. To look at this photo you might think it was taken in 1987. There's Wonder Woman, "Where's Waldo?" and timeless baby animals. The only clue that it's the 21st century is the name on the stroller, "Baby Jogger." It's October 2008, when the same old days suddenly look like the good old days.
Trends in food, entertainment, fashion and lifestyles of kids and teens around the world.
